1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to all paid transactions on the Grit&Gigs platform, including freelance service payments, subscription fees, and wallet transactions. Barter exchanges (skill trades without monetary payment) are governed by the dispute resolution process outlined in our Terms of Service.
2. Wallet Deposits
Funds deposited into your Grit&Gigs wallet are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may withdraw available wallet funds to your linked bank account or UPI ID at any time, subject to applicable fees and minimum withdrawal limits.
3. Freelance Service Payments
Payments for freelance services are held in escrow and released to the service provider upon completion. Refunds for incomplete or unsatisfactory work are handled as follows:
- Cancellation Before Work Begins — Full refund to the buyer's wallet.
- Dispute Resolution — If work is incomplete or does not meet agreed specifications, buyers may raise a dispute within 7 days of delivery. Our team will review and may issue a full or partial refund.
- No Refund After Acceptance — Once the buyer confirms satisfactory completion and releases payment, no refund will be issued.
4. Subscription Fees
Subscription fees for premium plans (Pro, Elite) are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — no partial refunds are provided for the remaining days.
5. Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days and credited to your Grit&Gigs wallet or original payment method, depending on the transaction type.
6. Fraudulent Claims
We reserve the right to investigate and reject refund requests that appear fraudulent or abusive. Users who make repeated false claims may have their accounts suspended.
