1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Grit&Gigs platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform. Grit&Gigs Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us") reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Platform Services
Grit&Gigs provides a marketplace for:
- Skill Barter — Trading services directly with other users without monetary exchange.
- Freelance Services — Offering and purchasing professional services for payment.
- MicroEquity Investing — Investing in local businesses (coming soon).
We act as an intermediary and are not a party to any agreement between users. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered.
5. Fees and Payments
Grit&Gigs charges a service fee on transactions as disclosed at the time of each transaction. Fees are subject to change with prior notice. All payments are processed through our authorized payment partners.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Attempt to manipulate the Platform's systems or bypass fees
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
7. Intellectual Property
The Grit&Gigs name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. User-created content remains the property of the user, but by posting it on the Platform, you grant us a license to display and promote it.
8. Limitation of Liability
Grit&Gigs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal actions shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
